MINISTRIES

In addition to the regular morning and evening worship services on Sundays, our church offers many different ministries for people of all ages. Please explore this page to find out what we have to offer. We would gladly welcome you or your family to join us at any time! Please check the Church Calendar for any changes to the normal times and locations.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday School classes are open to all and meet each week before the morning worship service. Our adult Sunday School operatates on a quarterly basis, with two classes offered each quarter. For the Fall 2009 quarter we are running classes on 'The Minor Prophets: Hosea' and 'Systematic Theology'.

The remainder of our youth system uses the Generations of Grace curriculum produced by Grace Community Church. This curriculum spans two age ranges but is unified with each class studying the same Bible text each week with the aim of promoting family discussion across the age groups. The Early Childhood class for ages 3 through pre-K meets in basement classroom 2. Our Elementary class (Grades K - 2) meets in basement classroom 1.

All classes start at 9:15am each week.

FLOCK GROUPS

Fellowship, Love, Outreach, Care, Knowledge

FLOCK groups are organized, small group ministries designed to enhance personal growth in Christ as well as to provide opportunities to live out the "one another's" of the New Testament. Acts 2 vs. 42-47 reveals that the early Christian's "devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, and to the breaking of bread and to prayer." And as a result, the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. The early church devoted themselves to each other to stimulate each other to love and good deeds, and they often met together in homes in order to accomplish this purpose.

Our FLOCK groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month in designated homes within each of 5 geographical districts. Your flock group would be designated, in most cases, by which district you live in.

A typical FLOCK group meeting includes a time of worship, Bible study, discussion, prayer, fellowship and refreshments. In these groups, we want to emphasize the development of spiritual gifts and to stimulate and exercise those gifts of service to each other in our local body and through outreach into the community.

MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST

The men of the church meet on the second Saturday of every month for breakfast followed by a time of discussion and prayer. We meet in the church basement from 7:00am - 9:00am. Breakfast is provided. We welcome you to come and join us. Please call the church office for further information.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

There are several men's small group Bible studies held each week and we would welcome you to join us! The Beavercreek group meets at Panera Bread (Fairfield Commons) at 7am every Saturday. The Xenia group meets in the homes of some of our church members on Thursday evenings at 7pm. For locations or further information, please contact the church office.

SNAC (SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER CHURCH)

All college students are invited to join with one of the church families after the evening worship service for a time of fellowship and a home-cooked meal. If you would like to come but are worried about getting to and from your college campus please use our Request-a-Ride service.
